Recently, the Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission released the list of key logistics enterprises in 2021 in Jiangsu Province. Jiangsu Ranguang Logistics Co., Ltd. and Jiangsu Huizhou Logistics Co., Ltd. of our city were successfully shortlisted. Up to now, there have been a total of 17 enterprises in our city that have been rated as provincial key logistics enterprises.
It is understood that Jiangsu Ranguang Logistics Co., Ltd., which was selected this time, was established in 2004. It is a comprehensive logistics enterprise with a storage area of 210000 square meters, 37 transportation trucks of various types, an annual transportation capacity of more than 2.5 million tons, and an annual turnover of 300 million yuan. The company has now established 15 branches, 7 offices, and more than 200 cooperative networks nationwide, with transportation networks throughout the country. Jiangsu Huizhou Logistics Co., Ltd. was established in 2013, with over 40 vehicles of various types, over 600 long-term cooperative transportation vehicles, and a logistics warehouse of over 40000 square meters. In order to meet the needs of the logistics market, enterprises adopt multiple business methods such as combined transportation, with operating outlets throughout the country.
Logistics is a fundamental and strategic industry that supports economic development. In recent years, the Municipal Development and Reform Commission has focused on "reducing costs and increasing efficiency", highlighting digital transformation, networked layout, and integrated operation. It has continuously strengthened its support for the development of the logistics industry, focusing on cultivating a number of modern logistics leading enterprises rooted in Kunshan and with brand influence. At the same time, it has taken multiple measures to reduce the operating costs of logistics enterprises, improve the quality and efficiency of logistics enterprise development, and promote the city's logistics industry to become larger and stronger.
It is understood that key logistics enterprises in Jiangsu Province will be reviewed and identified by the Jiangsu Development and Reform Commission based on local reports and preliminary review of materials in accordance with the relevant provisions of the "Management Measures for the Identification of Key Logistics Enterprises in Jiangsu Province" and the "Management Measures for the Identification of Provincial Key Logistics Bases and Demonstration Logistics Parks in Jiangsu Province". The purpose is to further stimulate the vitality of market players in the logistics industry, improve the overall operational efficiency and modernization level of logistics, and comprehensively enhance the competitiveness of logistics enterprises. In 2021, a total of 24 enterprises in the province were evaluated.
